itz the 3rd wk of the final term in school.

had a simple but heartwarming wkend with dear.

chicken rice forlunch @ Sgn Gdn with dear and mei mei.. den a pampering car wash session... some eye-shut time before a movie session @ Plaza Sing. watched John Tucker must die... super hilarious comedy.. great destresser...

in the movie, Kate played a girl who hated guys like john cox her mum always dated 'skips' ... so in a bid to save 3 girls who were 3-timed by john, she steps in and rises from a nobody-knew-who-kate-was to the most desirable girl in high school. John is deeply smitten with her and goes to great lengths to please her. ultimately, he really falls for her and he does a lot of sweet things for her... like dancing on the ship... climbing hotel rooms just to see her... haha....though she is a little touched, she is in fact in love with his brother, Smith Tucker. she finally breaks down and tells everyone the truth during John's bdae party , but feels much better after that. eventually, John gets over Kate and becomes an 'honest' guy. on the other hand, love starts to blossom btwn the 2 chemistry lab partners, Kate and Smith...

the show was really nice.. i'll give it a rating of 4/5... tells u to treasure your loved ones... and also to follow your heart in the direction and to the person whom it leads u to...

my friend watched another movie @ PS during the wkn too..The Haunted Apartment.. a Jap show which i normally don watch... haha.. heard that the show was not v v scary.. a bit funny in fact.. my friend gave it a rating of 2/5... haha...

think of this.. 10 theatres are screening 10 shows @ the same time in the same place.. after the show, diff people emerge out of the cinema feeling differently... some happy, some touched, some sad, some satisfied, some unsatisfied etc... itz the little choices we make which bring us the respective consequences at the end of it...

you gotta grab it before it disappears.. but sometimes when u grab too hard.. it will also disappear..

sun was a full day of tuition for me.. started @ 11am all the way till 4pm... shagged by the time dear came to fetch me.. we went to golden mile for an early dinner cox i was super hungry.. yummy oatmeal prawns, drunken prawns, abalone slices with spinach and chilli crab.. ehhe.. den we walked over to concourse to get my childrens' day gifts.. spent $100...

after we reached home, i wanted to wrap the presents for the kids, not knowing that dear had planted a '64-months' surprise for me... when i saw surprise part I.. i cried... sobbed. hysterically i shd say. IT really caught me by surprise... so my tears jux went on free-flow... and i cried and cried and cried... den after that dear gave me part II of the surprise... and i really love the cute little blocks! itz so so so so so nice and sweet.... thank you dear dear... i really donnoe what to say....

after the surprise, we proceeded to wrap the presents while watching Singapore Idol, Hardy sounds gd man! i think he will win.. hehehe.. before i knew it, i dozed off on dear's bed and suddenly woke up @ 10pm.. snoozed and the next time i woke up, it was 1115pm... dear dear sent me home.. and i ka-boomed the moment i laid on my bed... hahah..

but seems like the power slp last night has been great! i feel slightly rejuvenated.. and i hope this energy can last me thru the wk... lots of things to do AGAIN...

as i look back on my last blog entry with the task list.. i am proud to declare that i have not done any single thing there except for the buying of gifts! and more are coming...
