spent my monday morning attending SEED CL mtg in school.. hmmm.. lotz of new initiatives and things to be done...
met ah yan after that.. went to eat the porridge buffet @ Suntec.. den we went to the book fair... bought lots of books .... made 2 self inking stamps too ($15, buy 1 free 1)... can collect on Friday...
after that we ate @ Marche before taking a cab down to Expo to meet our mums... 4 of us went to the food fair...bought sooo much things... interestings things too.. like standing and eating satays, soon kuehs... eating soybean ice cream and 2 never-ending bowls of beancurd... walking like crabs... buying of Jia Jia green tea @ $0.40... lotz of food like otah, long long fishcakes... etc.....
seems like not only have yan and i grew closer, so have our mums... Yan's mum still asked my mum when the 'next outing' would be.. haha....her mummy really v v cute.. hahaha... mummy n i took bus back frm Bedok interchange after parting wif ah yan n 'yan ma'.......
looked through the things i bought when i came home.. lots of assessments... gonna mark them out and let the office assistant Siti print... wanna give the kids something to do every weekend...hehe.. so happy with my cheap buys.. some were at $1, some at $2.. haha..
gonna prepare to meet Shauna for a drink in town soon... long time since i last saw her... haha.. wat a simple n relaxing way to spend my Tuesday afternoon...

SIMPLE SUNDAY
spent a simple sunday with 2 mums. dear's mum and my mummy.
started the morning by having breakfast with my mum... den chatted wif my student's mum Mrs Khoo for a while... after tt met up wif Jimmy cox he was in my area for a haircut...
after that i rushed down to town to meet dear's mum.. walked ard wisma n taka... din manage to buy antg at all... dear's mum managed to buy a top...
den we travelled down to amk central to meet dear, his dad and his sis... ate steamboat till we were super full.. den they fetched me home.. i went RC to meet mummy for ktv... sang till 1030pm...
tom's 1st day of holidays. got to go back for CL dept meeting.. Liew wont be there cox he has another mtg @ MOE HQ. mtg's @ 9am... den meeting ah yan @ City hall.. we gg for porridge buffet, den go shopping, book fair and den go to food fair @ expo, together with my mum and hers... hahaha.......
gonna slp soon... my new habit is to sleep by 12 if i have to go to school the next day.. realised if i slp anytime later than 12, it will be sooo difficult to wake myself up the next morning...
got lotz of ideas for my class when sch reopens.. my concept of the Music Library... IQ games... Electronic Big books etc... i'm sure there will be more to come after gg to the book fair tom!

attended the SEED workshop @ SCTU this morning.. took a cab down with mummy... quite informative, topic was on Multiple Intelligence, a topic taught in NIE, but only this time round the terms and jargons were all in Chinese. Got some really interesting ideas with regards to designing games...
after that, met dear @ P.S, den we went for lunch and movie.. tried to win tickets to the Aviva Badminton Competition but no luck... den i wanted to eat the grilled chicken with rice @ the foodcourt but the queue was too long.. in the end i settled for a bowl of ban mian b4 we went for the show..
being the start of the GSS, everywhere was full of shoppers. dear and i naturally did not miss out on the sale too.. haha... dear got 2 tops, me got 4 tops and a pair of shoes!!! haha... but i got those super cheap ones, on 70% discount.. in the end each top cost me less than $15 each... ;op
wanted to shop further, but a bit tired after walking all the way frm P.S to wisma, so we decided to head home for our usual carrot cake, iced coffee and iced tea @ the coffeeshop downstairs...
most prob gg shopping with dear's mum tom... no money to buy clothes liao.. need to scrimp a bit till the 12th. tuition fees not in, no more allowances frm dear, still got to give mummy money...
haiz.. the bad side about growing up. wish i could go back to childhood days. no worries. carefree. jux play and play and play.

bcox some of the kids whom i have taught 2 years ago have started to 'recognise' me in school...
bcox more and more kids are coming forward to greet me...
bcox there are kids who still keep the mechanical pencil which i gave them b4 i left the school 2 yrs back..
reliefed HOD CL's class todae as she was on MC... played 'games' with them and gave out some stickers.. managed to start organising my things on the current teacher's table as well...
drafted a letter to the parents informing them of the change in their kid's teachers.. Liew helped me to vet, gonna give them out together with the holiday homework tomorrow....
mummy on mc todae. i supposed to go ah ma hse eat dinner tonigh but too tired... din go for tuition too.. came home ard 3.30pm and slpt all the way till 7 plus.. SUPER tired.. slightly more recharged now.. gonna see wat other 'games' i can come up with...
off to watch the 9pm show too... ;op

jux back frm my anniversary dinner with dear dear...
went to Paris Genghis Khan @ Taka for our dinner.. super ex ! but dear paid.. hehe.. thks dear dear.....
dear got me a pair of earrings frm D'Meyson, as well as a self written card... v pretty.. will take gd care of it...
got him a palmOne and a 256mb SD card... hehe.. now he can use it to store pics, listen to music, watch mtv and do many other things.. heheh.....
a v tiring day in sch...'officially' took over the 3 classes... set rules with them, divided them into groups, punished some of them to show them i mean business... etc...
all the classes seem pretty normal.. kids are talkative afterall... but they din turn out to be as scary as i tot they would be.... hopefully my judgement is still right...
had contact time after that, chatted a while wif my HOD... hopefully i can prove my worth to her asap and eradicate the bad impression she has of untrained young teachers... kenna arrowed to visit Alexandra Hospital, as well as do up a class for the Care for your Eyes Campaign....

1ST DAY OF SCHOOL
in school now...
had induction in sch this morning, reliefed class 4B for half a period.. ate lunch and blogging now..
induction this morning with Mrs Raj and Mr Chua was informative.
school starts @ 8am, tcrs have to be in by 740am.. (hehe.. means i can slp in later! yeah!!!)
mon n fri are CCA days, tue n thu remedial classes, wed contact time... lessons end ard 130- 2pm daily, except for wed...cox of contact time
gotten my seat, but it will only be vacated next wk cox the current contract tcr will leave next wk.. entering NIE in july....
gg take over her class... 2B, 3D and 4B/F (2 classes combined)
the p4 classes don seem to have a gd reputation for discipline.. everyone's warning me abt it being a v rowdy and naughty class... had the chance to meet them jux now for a while when i reliefed the EL tcr for lib period.. hmm.. really seems like a problematic class.. kids wif dyslexia, kids who are slow learners... kids who can talk back and get voilent..
and also a girl who is currently undergoing counselling in school... her name's Pearlyn.. refused to stand up and greet me when i walked in.. @ first i din noe abt her case.. so i almost punished her.. in the end found out frm the rest of the class that she is like this for ALL lessons... jux refuses to do antg, tok to anyone nor antg... homework also nv do.. no friends too... quite poor thing actualli....
apart frm Pearlyn, saw Daryl.. v noti boi also.. used to teach him 2 yrs back.. also there was Bai Yang, the class monitor.. since 2 yrs ago i saw him b4 liao.. he is a big and tall fella.. think frm China.. but he seems to be condemmed by many students cox they always make fun of his chinese name...
wat a class... but i gonna keep my spirits up... as long as i am fierce, firm but kind... i shd be able to manage the class bah... hopefully..... hahaha
i wonder how the rest of my dear friends are doing in school? howz the school? students? collegues? all the best ya!!
dear's playing badminton now... i still have to rush off to Novena Sq rto pay the TV licence later before gg Mayfair and Boon Lay Drive for tuition.. wat a busy day ahead!

STARHUB BROADBAND
yippeeee! i finally signed up for starhub broadband liao!!!
got the Maxonline 6500 package... itz $67.83 per mth after discount.... free installation, free cable modem, free wireless router, free usb adapter... and also a free 128mb thumbdrive! hahaahha
they coming to my house to fix in on wed... yeah... if nothing goes wrong i shd be able to be online starting wed night!
hahahaha...... besides the broadband svs, i also got 2 pairs of shoes (1 heels and 1 flats, both white), as well as 2 tops from Ness boutique @ Compasspoint... after that dear's father came to pick us and we went to AMK to eat fish head steamboat.. delicious!
now back @ dear's house... gg home soon i guess... den slp till tom morning... have lunch with mummy... den most prob gonna clear up my hostel room for the last time... den pass my keys to neighbour Wendy who has kindly agreed to rtn it to the hall office on Tue... thks Wendy! @ night gonna spend time with mummy, iron my clothes and pack my handbag and stuff for school...

HOME SWEET HOME
brought my pc and cooler back home yesterday... thks to dear dear who helped me to carry all the stuff.. haha.. loaded the whole taxi with my stuff.... still got some more stuff in my room... hopefully can go back tomorrow to clear everything den rtn the keys... hahah....
reached home in the afternoon yesterday... unpacked... assembled my pc.. everything's working now.. except for internet... gg look look see see which internet subscriber to choose.. either pacnet, singnet or starhub... haha....

here are a few deals which i got:
1) GR travel - 17th to 19th Jun (Fri - Sun)
$158 per pax, inclusive of free X-Treme show tickets (heard itz a motoring show, lasts for 75 mins @ First World Plaza, normally worth S$20 per person)
additional $10 per person for travel on their new double decker coach, equipped with tv and game stations...
additional $40 per person for travel on 18 seater executive coach
2) 707 Travel - 17th to 19th Jun (Fri - Sun)
$121 per pax after discount(cox i have the Genting World Card, so there's 10% off the total amount), no show tickets
3) 707 Travel - 13th to 15th Jun (Mon - Wed) or 14th to 16th Jun (Tue to Thu)
$81 per pax after the 10% discount. highly recommended by the travel agency cox itz considered low peak during these daes.. can save abt $40 - $60 per person
So how? what do you guyz think? as far as i'm concerned, i can only apply for leave when i go back to ZHPS next tue... shdn't have any problems getting my leave cleared...

TIRED AGAIN
back frm tuition. back frm dinner.
ate alone @ canteen 13. chicken chop wif coslaw, fries and garlic bread..oh yes.. and a can of seasons's barley...
v tired... lethargic... drained... though i have been slping for the whole day... din get any work done.. except for blogging, chking of email and rotting.. hahah.... think i might need to eat vitamin pills soon...
off to bed soon i guess.. nightz all!

3 days have passed jus like that!
dinner @ dear's hse on sunday was simple but nice... dear's mummy cooked yong tau foo, spare ribs soup with noodles.. yummy.. the soup super tasty... 1 drank 2 bowls... still have green bean soup after that... but dear dear busy running ard to eat dinner wif me... boo hoo...
mummy was on leave on Monday, so i acc her to AMK for medical checkup.. doc said her BP v v high.. must take note.. hmm.. shall stop her frm eating ice creams and desserts liao.. hahaha....
walked ard in AMK and bishan cox my mum was looking for some stupid clear holders... u noe.. those on special offer? and only got less than 2 sets per store? so she made me rush to bishan wif her to try our luck after grabbing the last set frm AMK popular...in the end bishan also din have.. den we went home loh... rushed off to meet dear @ ah ma's hse after that for dinner .. ah ma cooked so many dishes... ate wif the kids.. haha..den the original plan was that we kong kong kong back to hall... den in the MRT dear suddenly asked if i wanted to sing ktv @ KBOX jurong east... haha.. i even msged ah yan to ask her join us.. but in the end paul and fat cat came and the 4 of us sang till 2am... KBOX super duper cold man.. luckily i got blanket and jacket so i din feel soooo cold..... all thanks to my dear dear! hahahah..... kaboomz the moment i reached hall....
woke up earli on Tue morning.. had video filiming with director NIE and Siva... quite an enjoyale morning as i got to spend some time chatting wif director... updated him abt my trip to taipei.. abt my posting... haha..and he gave me some really invaluable advice which i think will carry on wif me for life...
filming ended ard 1pm.. went for lunch with the filming crew.. den i headed back to hall to change into smth more casual to go tuition.. told Sheryl and Carissa's mothers abt my posting.. and informed that i will only be able to coach the girls till end of June latest.. told them abt Janice too.. they v glad that i found someone for them.. hopefully janice and the gerz can get along well..
met up wif janice after my tuition for a drink... got 'updated' abt her life... glad to know that things are going ok for now... poor s... but haiz... no choice too.. many a times we choose the predicament to be in even though we know it might have a bad or even no ending.. sigh.
woke up late today.. supposed to go canvass for D&D tickets with the gang.. but i overslept as usual... now feeling a bit hungry... dear's still slping i guess..
today's packing day.. all the way till i go for tuition... but not before a nice lunch...
less than a wk to school. *shruds but also waves hand excitedly* feeling confused.

LAZY SUNDAY
wat a relaxing sunday....
had a fun friday night with the sisters.. glad that finally we're gg for a vacation together... to Gentings... hopefully all the sisters can go ... ;op haven heard frm my dear meiyan.. hope she had fun in genting... and we all can go again next month.. yan.. call me k? hahahahah
went out wif mummy yeaterday... brought her to eat porridge buffet @ suntec city... $9.80 nett per person.. lotz of variety ..much better than the previous $6.80 version.. hahaha .......... quite worthwhile... den we went carrefour walk walk.. den left liao... reached hme v earli last night (ard 9pm).. so i slpt earli too..

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GETS GOING...
woke up @ 12noon.. missed the ktv session wif Guo Yu, Xiuli and Baoyuan.. sorry sorry... but the good thing is that i'm much better after a gd nite's sleep and i can meet my dear sisters! thks to my dear friends for ur concern... ;op
a bit dazed as to how to start packing my room.. shall begin with the huge mess on my table i guess.. itz been there since i returned frm Taipei... once i can conquer it den it shd be more or less ok... the clothes are jux awaiting to be sent into the luggage bag.. hahah.. so not too much of a problem... except for the transportation part... hahah
thinking of signing up for starhub broadband... giving a free xbox.. promo till 16th May.. mayb i go look look see see @ bugis later.. oh ya.. mux rem bring ic and starhub bill to enjoy discount...
gonna pray @ temple to give my thanks too... for rtning safely frm Taiwan... and for getting into my dream school..
meeting Sl, TX and TL @ 7pm tonight.. great time to do some catching up... think both TX and SL stressed up with work.. TL shd be more or less starting to prepare herself for NIE this july liao bah.. such de-stressing sessions are always good.. cox u get to know the latest updates of those dear to you, and at the same time u know u are not alone when it comes to stress...
as for me? glad that exams are over.. kindda miss them too.. glad that i'm gg ZHPS.. kindda scared abt not being able to become a good tcr.. glad that i am finally shifting home to be with my mum after 4 long years.. kindda worried i cannot adjust to the lack of privacy and freedom back home... and also gg miss my dear dear sooooo much...
new priorities have to be set... for starts, that's to give my 101% into my career.. i wanna carve out a niche for myself.. i wanna be a gd tcr... i wanna be able to interest my kids with the language.. bring them the joy and share wif them...
i wanna take gd care of my mum too.. itz been hard on her alone for the past 4 yrs.. hopefully she can learn to spend more wisely.. i cannot always support her endless addiction for gambling.. haiz...
i wan dear dear to work really hard and graduate soon... v sad to leave him alone in the mountains.. no one to cook and wash for him.. but i think itz a gd opportunity for him to be independent.. hehe... he has started by knowing how to seperate the whites from the coloured laundry ... hahah... way to go dear dear ! muackz!
gg for my facial , get my pimples squeezed and eyebrows trimmed this sunday.. already postponed one wk liao... gt pay them for the recourse too.. *shrugs*
and i'm still deliberating doing smth to my hair... either cut it real short, rebond it or perm it.. haha....... my current hairstyle's not suitable for me anymore.. ends splitting, n i look so listless.. haiz...

S.I.C.K.
i declare that i am sick.
fever. running nose. dry throat.
doc says i am a bit overstressed and overworked. need to rest more. esp under such funny weather.
gave me super strong flu medicine and a bottle of donnoe-what for my flame and mucus. wanted to give me paracetamol but i told him i am an ardent supporter of Panadol. doc laughed and told me to take my own medicine. haha
tuition was ok.. taught my kids till i bit drowsy.. took cab back..
bought bread and chrysanthemum tea to 'cool' myself down.. super heaty...
