My kids went for the above competition @ Millenia Walk on Sunday...

dear was sweet to accompany me down to 'test water' on Sat.. hehee... we found the exact location so as to guide the school bus there, as well 'spy' on the type of questions which will be tested.. hehe.. in the end i was shocked when i found out that the kids had to memorise 3 sets of 6 proverbs each (total 18) and reproduce them in the same sequence after that... really tough man...

a tough competition, esp. the memory component... even i couldn't do it loh! think they are really brainy...

in the end, 4 out of 5 students made it to the 3rd round of the competition!! haaaaaa... a bit surprised and sad that Weijie did not make it.. he's one of the best in the group of 5.. but too high-headed... always very papaya... tatz why he was SUPER sad when his name was the only one that was not announced... even cried.. poor thing...

anyway... the next round will be the Quarter-finals @ Tampines Regional Library on 15th Oct (Sat), 1pm-5pm... so do come and support me and my kids if you are free ya!

i've cfm that she is really a blardy bitch!

shan't name names.. but sure some of u can guess it liao.. there's this ONE person whom i apparently can't get along with.. since day 1 of school.

she thinks by being pregnant, she can activate her 'mood swings' as and when she likes it huh?

1st: she laughs horrendously loud and rude. (nv heard someone laugh like her)

2nd: she does not show respect to senior teachers, makes crude jokes, calls them names etc.

3rd: she seems to find fault with everything i do.

4th: she is like a person having dengue. temp. fluctuates like mad. one moment nice, the next moment nasty like hell. the head think stuck in the clouds still haven come down yet.

she WAS the coordinator for one of the new initiatives undertaken by our dept. she STILL IS. but, apparently, she sees me as a threat cox my HOD praised one of my lessons in front of her some time back. i was tasked to do a presentation back den as well, and it made her see red.

BUT HARLOW... did i wanted to snatch and do YOUR presentation? I DID NOT. i was 'arrowed' too. who ask u to keep getting MC and missing school? would any HOD like her subordinate to be missing in action constantly and not get work done? you have no one but yourself to blame loh.

next, she flies into a temper as and when she likes, as if she is the queen of caldecott, or rather, 'Chinatown' (nickname for my dept) Commanding pple to do things, questioning pple and demanding to know answers. WTF!

Yesterday, she ASKED me out of the blue, if i had any free periods. I replied her honestly that i was free for the next 3 periods. den she TOLD me to go n take pics of the P2 and P3 model pupils in and upload the pics into HER sharing folder when it is done. i don mind taking the pics, as i am in the same committee as you, but excuse me? can't you be more polite? where are your manners? and... into YOUR sharing folder? y can't i upload them into MY sharing folder and u jolly well copy from there?

still, i went to take the pics. when i came back, not even a word of thanks from her. so much for wasting my time getting the pics taken and forgoing my lunch.

den this morning, she ASKED (rather, demanded) for the pictures. Pissed off, i told her that i did not upload them yet cox i reached home late last night. she gave me a 'du lan' look and told me to HURRY UP and pass to her asap. EXCUSE ME, if you are SOOOOOOO clever, y don u do it urself?

den, in the evening, when most of the tcrs were gone, she suddenly questioned me in a reprimanding tone :

Bitch - "Ms Eng, when are you going to return the costumes that you borrowed?"

Me - "Oh. some the students have yet to return them yet. I will put them back in their original place after all the sets have been returned. Why? You need to use huh?"

Bitch - "No lah. jus that the costumes belong to Chinese Dance (fyi, that's HER CCA). Do you know where is the original place to return them? Cox i wasn't informed that you took the costumes."

Me - "Oh I noe where to rtn them. Mrs Chan (another senior tcr in charge of the CCA as well) was the one who brought me to choose the costumes. She told me to return them back only after all have been washed. Do you need them urgently?"

Bitch - no reply, jus continued staring into her keyboard, treating me like an idiot who was talking to myself.


EXCUSE ME, how could i ask you when u were on MC during those days? call u?? please loh! you din even switch on your hp, the HOD and another 2 tcrs couldnt' even get you loh, let alone me. ASK you?! you must be joking!

AND HOR, din you mum teach you not to be a rude girl? even my Pri 2 kids know that it is rude to ignore a person when he/she is toking to you. As a mother of 1 and another one-to-be, is this wat you call manners? MY ARSE loh!

i'm really really ultra pissed off with her. have never been soooo angry with a person before.

therefore, i declare, from today onwards, i am going to DRAW A CLEAN LINE with her. if you step on my toes again, i am not going to let it off jus like this loh. so wat if you are pregnant? so wat if u came in 1 yr earlier than me? can show Attitude ah? u think i cannot huh? try me!

you better not come near me. the other tcrs may tolerate your behaviour but i wont. try your attitudes again and i will make you sorry. trust me.

Grrr. i feel like biting now. DON come close.

BUSY WEEK AHEAD!

watched The Longest Yard with dear dear @ Plaza Singapura on Sunday.. super hilarious... den we went home for dinner.. his mum cooked steamed prawns with egg, braised pork and chicken feet & peanut soup.. v v v nice 'wen nuan pai' dinner... super yummy... den dear watched his Man U vs Liverpool match while i catched up with his sister in her room.. den dear sent me downstairs to get a cab... had a great time wif dear... ;op

well.. seems like itz a busy week ahead for me...

attended Kajua's ORD Parade last night (see pictures below) ... tough tiring, but i was v v proud of him.. he has finally completed his 2 years & 4 months of Commando training @ Hendon Camp... his parents were there last night.. could tell they were relieved and happy to know that his training is finally complete! took lots of pics for him last night.. hope he likes them...

yesterday was also P2 Chinese Oral for my kids.. most of them did quite well.. with a few even scoring full marks.. hehe...

as for today, my P3s had their Chinese Oral exam.. passage today was rather difficult.. haa... usually happens to the Day 2 group.. donnoe y...

tomorrow's a busy wednesday, trophies which i have ordered for my kids shd be coming in... and den itz off to contact time from 130pm-230pm.. den training my kids for the Chinese Proverbs Whizkids Competition happening this Sunday @ the new Millenia Walk... hoepfully there is enough time for them to memorise all 60 proverbs.... still got tuition at night...

Thu's supplementary and remedial class for my P3 kids.. another busy day ahead...

Fri's SEED chinese sharing workshop @ the Teachers' Network from 230pm-6pm... sisters' gathering has been postponed till Oct...

thinking of getting my 5 kids to come back to school on sat to prepare them for the competition..

Sunday's the competition.. as well as dinner at dear's hse...

can't wait for this wk to end.. ohd ear.. which means Childrens' Day is coming!!! and i have yet to finish the backdrop design!!! HELP!!!

It was an awesome celebration today with my 3 classes ! the pics above tell the whole story...

From planning.. bringing of mooncakes, lanterns etc.. to the actual carrying out of the celebration, the kids loveeeeed it! to the maximum!

Many of them had an opportunity to try various types of mooncakes... sang songs... played games with the pomelo hats.. haha...

had a great time on stage today... it was a fun time listening to Mr Lim and Mdm Lim sing... my kids performing.. and the quiz questions...hehe... my HOD praised me for a job well done... esp for my quick-thinking when one of the students could not come up with the correct answer.. ha... worth sacrificing my MC...

had fever, cold, running nose and sore throat last night.. reached home ard 5pm.. slept.. den couldnt take it.. so i went to the doc ard 8pm.. ate medicine and slpt again...

today supposed to be on mc.. but i got lots to do so i went back to sch... after class, i tushed to NVPC with Gina to attend the CIP programme workshop.. but halfway my temperature shot up again.. so i went home.. ate panado, slpt..felt better when i woke up.. so i went for tuition..

gonna celebrate Mid Autumn Festival with my kids tomorrow.. bought 3 pomelos, some mini mooncakes and lanterns... hope they will like what i have planned for them tomorrow...

haha... lots of things to be done this week... hope my body is strong enough to take it...
