WITS PROJECT & CHILDREN'S DAY DECORATION

1. WITS PROJECT SHARING
my hod wants me to present my SEED CL's progress since start of term. she says a simple presentation will suffice. gotta start planning the flow of my presentation, as well as the objectives.

as far as i know:
- intended audience will be the entire MT dept, presentation to be delivered in English
- perhaps i could include a simple definition of wat SEED is all about and the benefits/ feedback rcd frm my students thru 'learn through games & learn with games' concept


2. CHILDREN's DAY DECORATIONS
hod cl jux told me that i will in charge of decoration the school hall for Children's Day 2005. gotta submit a proposal for the backdrop, together with the estimated budget, to both herself and P. a bit overwhelming for me, as she told me to 'rope in some people to help me with the deco' ... was thinking of working with Liew.. hopefully he is agreeable.. or shall i do it with my P3 kids? hmm.. really not sure.. think i nid to seek help from ger ger... all i can manage are stick figures! how to decorate a HUGE hall backdrop? h.e.l.p.

also, i went to attend the 5th Annual Chinese Folk Songs Singing Competition @ Clementi Town Sec today. saw Zhongwei (Rivervale Pri) and Yuzhen (Bukit View Pri).. bad experience for me as i MISSED the sch bus which was supposed to send us there! YES I DID! my hod brought her class to board the bus @ 130 sharp and left @ 135pm. i released my last class aorund that time, rushed to the toilet to remove my contact lenses, but the sch bus had left by the time i reached the front porch. another P5A girl, Caiwei, also missed the bus. I wanted to bring her to take cab down to the venue but then by a twist of fate, my P, who was on his way to the competition, turned back from Lor Chuan to fetch Caiwei and myself down. hahaha..... a blessing in disguise? din have to squeeze in the small coach and yet managed to stirke up a conversation with my P.

upon arrival @ the school, i could sense the 'blackness' of my Hod's face.. think she must have felt super malu and paiseh to miss out 2 pple.. one small and one BIG one! hahaha ... mayb she also scared kenna scolded by the P.

my sch's chinese dance team did not win eventually, but were given a trophy and a $100 cash voucher as the consolation prize..

ate dinenr @ ah ma's house... yummy steamd chicken, fried tau kwa, mushroom, fried fish and carrot scallop soup... delicious.. slurp slurp slurp...

v v v v tired now.. off to think abt my presentation.. hopefully i can get things done out real soon...
