SEED CHINESE WORKSHOP @ RGS

finally completed my 2 day workshop course @ RGS.

"our children are like seedlings. plant them well and watch them grow into remarkable trees..."

lots of teaching ideas were exchanged between both the Singapore and China teachers... apprarently the teachers in China are also using the same Chinese syllabus in China... and they've done quite a great job with OUR local syllabus... lots of games and activities, lots of different teaching strategies etc... really makes me rethink abt the fact that we have got a 'boring textbook'...

though the 2 full days were a bit tiring... it was definitely rewarding.. best part? they had compiled a whole set of lesson plans for Primary 1B, starting from Unit 4... gonna be real useful i think.. a pity i don teach primary 1.. but i did pick some useful pointers...
