MELTED

Day 5 of teaching. SO FAR SO GOOD! *beams*

My P1 is a darling class... as usual.. they warmed up to my Eeyore on the 1st day of school straightaway.. not forgetting the useful stickers which i brought along with me...

i have 3 Koreans, 2 taiwanese and 2 china kids in my P1E.. out of a total of 28 pupils...

was telling dear that the Korean boy Zachary Kyoo Koon-Yi is my favourite! he cant speak chinese for nuts... but is damn proficient in English. jus found out frm his mum todae they lived in the States for the past 4 years... hence explaining his 'Ang Moh' accent. The 1st day i walked into the class, he struck me cox he was the tiniest boy in class... den there was the mosquito biting incident.. the hanyu pinyin reading sessions, and his number and colour counting games... i relli love him so much...

HOD wanted to take him out of class yest to join the other Non Chinese speaking background kids. but Zac refused to follow her out of my class and it caused her a slight embarrasment.. i was tasked today to bring him to her class.. in the end he refused again.. and HOD finally relented to let him stay in my class for the time being...

he told me this today... Weng Laoshi , i like eeyore. and i love you too. *gives me a kiss on my cheek* . can i get to see you tomorrow for chinese? i like you!

awwwwwwwwww.... melted. (will post his pic after i upload it!)

My P2 class is made up of 29 pupils, 10 from my pre 1A class, and 29 others, mainly frm Anthony's class last year... i took a short while to rem all their names cox i took them before in 2006. wonderful class.. the weaker ones have been drawn out, so have the strong ones.. i have this group of mischievious, but really cute babies which i m soooo in love with too!

P6C was under Mr Lim in 2006. and they seem to be quite a studious batch... lots of them did their work diligently and are able to comprehend my chinese.. except a few 'potatoes'... haha.. gave them compo to do over the wkend and 99% submitted on Mon! *surprised and glad*.. hopefully they can keep up the good work...

in short, i am very pleased with the current arrangement...
