i m on the road to recovery liao.. thank you very much...
the water blisters have de-swell-ed liao.. leaving huge patches of dark,black, dry skin on my neck and even face.
in short, i look HIDEOUS.
jus like someone who has fell down from bicycles and scratched themselves. 10 times. no. 100 times consecutively.
pls don ask me to show u my scars. i don wish to be reminded of them.
for now, all i can do is dutifully take my medicine, apply my cream, watch my diet and HOPE that a miracle can appear to remove all these ugly scars by the 3rd.
i don wanna freak out my P1E, P2B and P6C students...
speaking of which... i am quite happy wif the deployment for 2007...
jus hope i can do well and prove my worth.
esp to those 2 headed snakes and fishes.
i got a feeling itz not gg to be an easy yr... with 15 tcrs in the dept.
but nonetheless, i wanna do my job and i wanna do it well!
2007 shall be focused on my career!
slowly starting to pick the momentum to get back to work liao... hope i can sustain it...

SHINGLES ATTACK
7 days of MC + 35 Aciclovir tablets + Zoral cream = $115.00
wat was presumed to be heat rashes turned out to be an episode of Shingles.
wat the chinese folks call 生蛇.
my doc says it is the 2nd episode of chickenpox, as Shingles carry the same virus as chickenpox.
the viruses are actually embeded in the body after a person has chickenpox, but Shingles remains inactive till it is triggered by a high level of stress (mentally, emotionally, physically etc).
outbreak can last frm antg btwn 5 days to 2 wks. in those super jiatlat cases where Shingles is found around the abdomen, it can even last till 3 wks.
mine's on the right side of my neck. smaller area compared to the abdomen, but much more visible too.
imagine red patches of ugly looking skin, with water blisters on top.
omg. i don think you would wanna imagine that.
the pain comes on so frequently that i have to rely on painkillers in order to slp.
doc says it is not infectious but advises me to stay away from babies.
omg, what a gd way to spend the last 5 days of 2006.
tuitions have been canx. but sch's still in for me tom. annual staff mtg. i wouldnt wanna be absent. guess i will wrap myself up as a mummy and go to sch.

7D6N ALISHAN RELAXING TOUR
i'm back !!!
it was a fun and rejuvenating holiday in Taiwan wif dear n his family...
lots of laughter, lots of food and lots of things to carry!
@ first i tot i would not enjoy this trip as much as HK... but i did!
the lovely n scenic flower farm,
the geese which would wake us up in the morning by knocking on our glass windows,
the never-ending vegetables for each meal,
the relaxing n exciting hot spring dip,
the frequent 3hour naps on the coach,
the chicken cutlets, the taiwan sausages, the cai bo eggs and the milk teas,
the cuddly SQ pillows,
the sunrise and sunset which we witnessed,
and the care n concern showered upon me by dear dear.
thank you dear dear, for making me feel like the happiest person on the world.
thank you for your ceaseless patience and unlimited love thru'out this trip...
i love you. so so so much.
