HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY

the splurge on Vesak burnt a BIG hole in my pocket.

the following 2 days weren't any better.

sat.

woke up @ 2pm.. tot i was safe from the Shopping Virus. dear had to work.. so no one to go shopping with.. decided to stay @ home to do my laundry, sweep and mop the floor...

Mum called @ 315pm. booked a massage session @ Zennique @ 5pm. Mothers' Day special $88 for 2. headed down to Toa Payoh @ 430pm where i tot i would not be liberated to spend, apart from the $88 (nett).

massage session was quite alright.. but was persuaded to sign up for 2 facial trial sessions, and a body massage session. blew another two hundred plus in total.

walked past Gio. 50% sales on selected items. bought 2 tops. picked up new ear piece too.

had chicken rice for dinner.

decided to pop by SK to get dear's mum's present. finally decided on a topaz pendant.

and yes, a mini reward for myself too.

the salesman was good. yes. he had the gift of the gab to tempt me with the mini bling bling and finally i bought it.

yes. another two hundred plus.

met up with Yan Ping @ Nos.. together wif summer and kajua.. itz been a loooong while since i last saw her..

the good old sec sch days..

nice catching up, ger.. hope to cya again...

dear came to bq to fetch summer and me ard 2am.. but we played hide n seek.. and only found each other approx 30mins later... ha.. but thks for the effort dear.. really appreciate it!

lunch @ Ban Heng with mum, 2 aunts and dear. yummy, and truly value for money.

afternoon was shopping for dear's ah ma's present @ Sieyu. not too bad. no time for personal shopping. was whisked away by dear even before i could set my eyes on antg. but thanks for that dear... ;op

diner @ Chuan Yi Pin with dear's family... a bit stressful cox dear's dad did not like the food.. and the spiral staircase made things worse.. imagine having to balance 2 whole plates of raw food on your hands and having to balance ur way down the spiral staircase in a new pair of heels! omg..

dinner was so-so, mainly cox dear and i were still full frm the lunch @ Ban Heng.

another hundred plus on the card.

all in all.. an action-packed , tiring, but also fruitful wkn.

and of cox , an extrordinary splurge and indulgence too.

trust me, i'm not like that all the time.. just sometimes.

haha. think i gotta work like mad to clear my card bills next month..

anymore tuition lobangs, anyone?
