juz back from a nice cool shower... super refreshing...

few things i wanna blog abt.. 1st and foremost....

a big THANK YOU !!! to melissa, jymmy, meiyan, tanlim, viki, suling and tianxin for the presents and the wonderful time.....

began my sat morning by meeting dear for brunch, den he brought me to colour my hair.. haha... aftr tt i brought him to see my dream-cupboard (not really dream lah.. but jux tt i like it a lot cox itz big and roomy!! haha).. dear also agreed the price quite reasonable.. hehe...

den i headed off to the bridal workshop @ riverside pt with mel mel in the afternoon... ate steamboat @ AMK wif mel mel and jymmy and dear dear.. managed to buy some clothes from Plaza Singapura and Sportslink too! finally finished my CNY shopping .... hehhe.. was so happy and sooooooo full! hahah.. almost couldnt slp @ night.. haha..

woke up this morning for my lunch date with mummy.. haha.. she gave me an ang pao for my bdae and also treated me to Sakura Intl Buffet.. haha.. super sumptous.. ate soooo much too.. cox the food relli v nice.. haha... den i met up with my dear sisters in the evening for KTV.. hahha... so nice to see almost everyone together... haha.. really touched that TL, TX and SL came although they had to work tom... and LY too.. who came aftr her lessons... most imptly, thanks to MY for organising everything and bringing your camera to help me take pics!!! xie xie ni men!!!

janice ger ger.. din forget u too...... all the best for your presentation tom k! although itz only 10% , i'm sure you will do well!!! hope our proposal gets approved soon! and our pedicure session as well ! hahahah......

and of cox... in case you tot i forgot, thank you my dear for EVERYTHING.... thanks for paying for my new yr clothes, my new hair colour, still giving me pocket money to spend etc... luckily i am finally gg to grad soon.. den i can earn $$$ liao.. hehe...

however, on the less happy side..., my 'ah bee bee' is spoilt again.. she has fallen sick.. cannot take pics... have to bring her to see the camera doctor... most prob gg to the Canon shop @ harbourfront on Tues.. i hope they can fix it for me by CNY .. if not den by Vdae bah...

gonna work hard this wk and try to finish up as much work as possible so tt i can have a long holiday during CNY! wanna clear projects! and practise my Malay!! settle TTC stuff too !!!

looking forward to the 4th, 5th, 9th, 12th, 14th and 26th of next month!

BLUNDER

Opps! i made a super big blunder..accidentally informed 2 pple that they were selected for the NIE photoshoot when they were'nt.. haiyoh.. now have to send another email to tell them.. so paiseh...

luckily ger ger helped me with the phrasing and etc.. hah.. so now it sounds like an official email telling them they did not clear the 2nd round of selection.. haha.. thks ger ger!

slpt @ 4am last night.. chatted wif meiyan.. haha.. time flies man when 2 gerz start to chat and b4 you noe it... itz like a few hours liao.. haha.. but it feels soooo nice to chat wif close friends.. the kind of once-you-start-cannot-stop mentality.. everything also wanna tok abt.... hahahha

woke up @ 12 plus this morning cox my malay tcr called.. guess wat? CLASS IS CANCELLED! hahahaha.. i think i have divine power.. i can read the future!!! hahahah... told dear the good news juz now.. so he says most prob we're gg home tonight... nearer for me to go attend the workshop tom also...

think i'm gg pizza hut wif ger ger to have lunch and hopefully, catch up on my readings for presentation...

juz finished the TTC Bazaar proposal with jancie ger.. quite relieved that one major thing is down.. haha..... we went JEC to have jap food for dinner and walk walk @ pasar malam.. bought some v nice accessories @ $2 each! hahah.. so so so so cheap!!! den i bought otah and nuggets for myself and muah chee and fishballs for dear.. hehe....... yummy yummy....... and there was this stall which sold stickers.. so cheap!!! 10 pcs for $1.. i bought 40 pcs... can give my students next time when i go and teach... mayb i will go back and buy somemore? hahahahah........ cheaper than buying those erasers and rulers lah... children like stickers more too....... ;op

and oh ya.. thks stephen and janice for getting me the magnetic braclet.. i think itz really cool.. will treasure it.. hahah.. thks a lot for the advanced gift !!!

today's friday... my free day.. but dear has lessons till 530pm... dear said he'll bring me out aftr tt .. but donnoe if he still remembers.. hehe..... if not then i rot in hall loh.. i got work to do but no momentum to start leh.. quite tough also.. got lots of readings...

could have gone home tom night but i got malay on sat morning.. sianz.. 4 hrs somemore.. hope the tcr will sms to sae class is cancelled cox cannot find classroom! hahahah........

still thinking whether i shd go and get the memory card from the bazaar.. $24 for 128MB .. very worthwhile hor...

was super sick last night.. keep sneezing till my whole nose went red... think cox my nose sensitive and also cox my room was v dusty... changed my bedsheets and swept the floor; dear helped me to mop the floor... den i went to bed after eating panadol cold relief... woke up this morning feeling so much better!

had mtg with mrs seah juz now.. discussed the possible candidates for the photoshoot... hehe.. now i'm back in my room, gg slack a while den go for tuition alredi... tonight might be gg to Chinatown with janice to walk walk n see see.. heheh.....

sorry sisters... our original plan was to meet up this sat right? but i can't make it.....

was toking to meiyan in class jux now about confirming our date for gathering... my malay lecturer jux cfm tt i have makeup lesson this sat from 9am till 1pm cox lessons are suspended for CNY and he is gg reservist!!!! .. den i'll nid to go to a bridal gown workshop in the afternoon... organised by the Singapore History Musuem which i also forgot when i signed up for.. hhah.. they jux called me last wk to confirm my name and particulars.. haha...

UNLESS... we meet ard evening time ... say ard 6pm-7pm? den mayb we go for dinner only.. cox KTV will be too tight if we wanna eat dinner...

OR ELSE... might have to postpone the date... though i don relli like a post celebration.. but no choice also... haiz.... here are the dates which i am available:

TIRING SUNDAY

hahah.... i'm proud to say... tt i have managed to pack and clean up my room!! hahaha *applause*

woke up ard 1030am todae.. went for breakfast wif mummy.. den headed to get new mop and my fav detthol cleaner.. armed with a new rag, i began to clean my super duper messy and dirty and dusty and smelly room! hahahahah

spent the whole day in my room.. from cleaning the cupboards, shifting furniture, wiping the walls and ceiling etc.. phew... super tired aftr tt....

moving furniture to create a 'more spacious' room (hopefully).... my wardrobe and bookshelf from IKEA 2 years ago are spoilt! screw IKEA for their 'high quality' goods... PUI!

gonna need to get a new wardrobe.. or else the clothes which i have in hostel now will be "wardrobe-less" when they get home.....

saw this quite good and value for money wardrobe near my house this morning.. 4 door wardrobe @ $399, (another $30 for delivery)... contemplating whether i shd get it... i think i will... aftr i get my stipend ... my plan is to get it before CNY bah...

gt continue packing my room when i get back next week.. still got the loose ends to tie up.. den itz to even bigger projects - my living room and my mom's room! omg... i foresee myself cleaning and wiping and throwing!! hahahahha........ haha.. but now my hand is super achy.. haiz...

went sch for mtg with woody and mrs seah jux now.. finally settled some stuff... budget is still pending.. new things coming up... and i heard frm mrs seah.. there will be yet ANOTHER bazaar next week for CNY.. haha... and i also told her tt i was keen to have another one in feb... ger ger has tot of a very nice theme: "basking in love..." haha... "Lurve is in the air" sounds cool too! hahah..... hopefully our ideas will be approved during this sat's mtg ........;op

washed clothes... waiting for them to be ready now... hopefulli in time to meet janice later in NIE for lunch.. haha...

TIGER CUP CHAMPIONSHIP - SINGAPORE LIONS!

juz back frm the National stadium... had my facial this afternoon with yan yan... haven chat wif her for quite a while.. hehe.. managed to catch up over 2 cups of teh, 1 bowl of fishball beehoon and a plate of rojak after our facial.. headed to her house aft tt to look @ some photos b4 meeting dear @ kallang mrt to watch the Tiger Cup Finals...

it was a great game with Singaporean Lions scoring 2-1 against Indonesia....

dear, me , paul, ryan, bong, lizhong, huishuang and adrain went to watch the match.. haha.. everywhere was a sea of red... with super many die-hard Singaporean fans..

walked to the NS east entrance to meet dear's friends.. den we entered the stadium and managed to get quite a gd seat with clear view.. haha... before the game dear brought me out to buy drinks and food for the rest.. piangz.... the queue was terrible... everyone pushing and pushing.. i almost got pushed out of the queue twice.. luckily dear was there to shield and protect me.. hahaha......think the vendors made super lots of money.. they gave us those paper coke cups... den each bottle of 1.5L could fill abt 5 cups (with ice).. and guess how much they sold each cup for ? $2!! haha.. tatz like a 900% profit for them.. haha... but no choice.. thirsty so muxt buy loh.. haha.......

actual game started @ 735pm.. and the Lions scored their 1st goal within the 1st 5 mins.. hehe.. eveyrone was so excited and we roared, did the Kallang Wave and cheered loudly! hahaha... somewhere towards the 1st half, we managed another goal.. well done Singapore... however, in the second half, Indonesia scored a goal, bringing the total score to 2-1 @ the end of 94 mins.. ;op

"ole ole ole ole.... ole.... ole..." was the common tune tt everyone was singing, apart of the occasional "referee kayu! referee bodoh!!!" etc.. haha... the 2 referees tonight gave out so many yellow cards and even kicked our Singapore Captain Iskandar out with a deadly red card... but.. we still won! heheheheh........ 3 cheers!

we den the gane headed to 179 for a nice plate of wanton mee and chicken wings...

my 1st experience watching a live soccer match, esp one of my own ctry.. haha.. feel so proud to be a Singaporean.. den on our way out we managed to change our tickets for the diehard Lions t-shirt.. haha... though the size is super small, think itz gonna be a gd momento.. i'm gonna cut out the report (if any) on the newpaper tom too.. haha...

hahah.... juz came back from the Korean movie "My Brother".. itz super nice!!! hahhaha

though the story development was a bit slow, the second half of the movie was super touching.. hehe... think you guyz should watch it.. ;op

FRIDAY

hmmmmm... itz coming to the end of another week.....

helped dear with his D&D stuff yest.... went IMM and bought some stuff.. headed off to tuition..
when i came back.. was very surprised to find a pair of earrings on my table.. thks ger ger for it! itz really nice and i think you've got gd taste.. hehe.. but i will have to learn how to wear it.. hahaha...... xie xie ni! glad u had a fun time with your friends... haha... great choice of books too ! ;op too bad i am not teaching english if not i can 'borrow' your resources.. haha....

both jan and james could not make it to BBR so we had to canx it.. in the end, i went to watch Hall Olympiad Cheerleading with dear and paul.... hehe... all the halls displayed high levels of unity... though some fell and could not complete their formations, they were full of smiles despite all the injuries.. so proud of everyone... felt so touched by their determination that i almost teared while watching... think the girls and guyz have spent so much time rehearsing juz for this performance.. and some halls had near-to-flawless performances! Superb!!!

we din stay for the results... 'zao' the moment the last hall finished performing.. in the end hall 6 was champion and dear's hall got 3rd! congratulations.. ;op think the team spirit in Hall 6 is really strong.. all the supporters came equipped in their hall tshirts and empty bottles as noise-makers... their cheerleading group did some relli remarkable stunts and formations.. and their mascot was a 'Cai Shen' - God of Wealth... think the person was an indian/malay bah.. haha... had everyone laffing frm head to toe... and he even threw chocolate gold coins to the crowd... hehe.. relli deserved to win! hahahah.......

well.. aftr i came back from cheerleading competiton, i spent the rest of the night playing neopets cox i was super bored.. haha.. itz been a looooong time since i last log in (think abt 2 yrs ago when mel mel and i were crazee ove it.. haha.... ) den dear dear and I nearly quarrelled over some stupid powerpoint stuff.. but in the end ok liao.. haha.. think both of us were tired from a long dae... esp aftr sitting on the floor for a whole 4 hrs to watch the cheerleaders.. hehe...

slpt frm 1am till 2pm !! hahah... feeling sooo rejuvenated now...

gg slack for a while.. hopefully can do my malay homework...

meeting dear later for dinner and movie! yipeeeeeee!

oh yes.........i'm gg to watch the Tiger Cup Finals this sundae @ the National Stadium!!! dear and I went to queue for the tickets..@ first we drove to Jurong East to try our luck but the vendor told dear all tix sold out.. den clever dear tot of the jurong stadium.. so we drove over and managed to get 8 tickets (4 per person).. haha...... there was quite a long queue ... as if queueing for Toto or Singapore Idol.. hahah....... so fun! then there were 2 drivers who gave me their coupons.. so we din have to waste money on parking coupons.. hehe...

though i don really understand the soccer game... i wanna go and 'feel the atmosphere' there with dear... i'm sure itz gonna be a really exciting game.. haha... hopefully it doesnt rain and the Indonesians will not be as violent as the Myanmar pple.. if they dare to throw dustbins over again.. i will surely........ run and hide! hahahahha!

haha...... gg home over the wkend to spend time with my dear mummy and go for my well-deserved facial on sunday.... will be back to blog next wk bah... meanwhile.. have a great wkend!

WEDNESDAY

had a tiring night yesterday... spent 2 hrs completing 2 simple Malay worksheets... as if i was back in Primary 1.... hmm.... i think i nid to work realli hard on my malay man... haiz....

no sch yesterday... but i had to wake dear up... so i was up earli in the morning... dear janice bought Mcnuggets meal for me to eat... heheh... yummi-licious... haha...

slpt for a while aftr janice and dear went for class.. headed for tuition aftr tt... bought dinner back for them and watched tv while doing my homework.. did up the TTC claims too... super pissed with someone... haiz... why are some pple jux born like that? *pissed*

managed to finish all my readings for todae... juz ended a nerve-wrecking tutorial... tcr expected us to speak up individually and express our views on a particular topic.. prob is tt his qn was so abstract and i din noe where to begin.. aha... luckily it wasnt my turn and class ended liao... think this module is gonna be difficult man.... shucks....

well... the gd thing was tt dear walked me to sch todae.. hehe... feels good to see him earli in the morning.. hehe... hopefully i'll have a gd dae todae.... next lesson's @ 1330, den i have malay class @ 1730...

looking forward to tom's performance @ BBR... hehe.......

MONDAY

today's the start of a new wk...

my malay tcr taught sooooo many things todae.. a bit hard to catch up.. nearly got lost in the middle of the class.. but managed to stay on track.. some malay syllabus are really hard to pronounce... hahah..... made so many notes but super tired to arrange them now.. think i'm gonna do it tomorrow... hehe

the past wk was super fun, tiring, and also annoying... all rolled into one...

supposed to go Boom Boom Room to watch the comedy with my TTC gang on Fri night, but in the end it was full house... and we were all game for the night... so we went dbl-o...

there was janice, james, woody, fidah, joanna, yuetling, saodah and me ... dbl-o was a bit boring cox mani din like the music... so we sort of 'migrated' to Coyote Ugly aftr that... and boy was it fun... haha.. we had our very own bar top dancers, we also saw pple falling from e bartop, drunk ladies being taken advantage by those stupid ang mohs .. haiyoh.. relli pathetic man... luckily we went in a grp so had a lot of fun all by ourselves.. haha..

e party ended @ 3am.. woody, janice and I shared a cab back.. certain things happened.. but everything is still uncertain now.. so all i have to say is to wait and see.. nothing is for sure.. but who know? there could be hope on the other side of the world? haha.. itz best to maintain low profile for now i guess... anaylse what you need and get over irritating pple who do not even deserve your time and attention..

well.. i got skinned by dear when i came back.. cox i was like super drunk.... with all those vodka lime, vodka ribena and vodka cranberry.. haha... i also became blur blur physically but was still sober mentally lah... sorry dear tt i came back sooooo late... but i din wanna spoil the fun by leaving earli......thank you for coming over to acc me and for making sure tt i was fine... i really appreciate it... ;op

BUT.... i got pissed with him on sat.. cox he stood me up for 2 hrs!!! super angry as i was already very tired, a bit sick and worse of all, out since 9am till 7pm... the last thing i needed was to wait and wait for him while he was happily slping ! dear ah.. next time pls don do tt k... i is most most angry you noe! hmmph! ... haha.. but now ok liao... we both apologised to each other.. and on the account tt you bought me mcwings meal with the new twister fries tonight, i forgive you! hahahah!!!

spent Sun with mummy and relatives.. helped out @ the RC Senior citizens gathering early in the morning.. den rushed down to Carlton Hotel wif my mum and aunt to join the rest of my 40 relatives!! haha.. we sort of booked half of the coffee house.. my younger cousins running ard with balloons, little chats here and there with my relatives.. felt really great man! after tt i went HV for body massage with my aunt and mum aftr tt, den went down to chinatown to get some stuff before coming back to hostel........ super duper ultra tired and in the lousiest of moods......

din do any sch work tonight.. but managed to arrange my stuff and chat wif frenz.. hahah....

bdaes are coming, so is CNY and Vdae.... and soon it will be April Soon!

that shall mean the end of my 4 yr university life... looking forward to it but also confused at the same time... i hope to get my1st pay, but i'm sure i will miss all the privacy and freedom which i am enjoying now.. so i'm gonna treasure my remaining 4 mths here !!!

RELAXING THURSDAY

hmmmmmmm....... had a relaxing thursday.

before i forget... thank you mel mel for the present!! itz sooooooo nice... big and roomy for me to put my stuff.. heheh.... nice colour too !!! Xie Xie Ni !!!

had lessons from 830-930.. tcr is gg to change the class to wed so tt we don have to come specially for 1 lesson.. haha... tatz great!

came back aftr tt ... slpt all the way till 130pm.. woke up, bathed and went tuition...

started Algebra with my tuition girl Sheryl and i 'convinced' her to like this topic in 30 mins.. haha.. taught her all the tricks to differentiating 'a' from 'b' etc.. in the end she told me 'chey.. so easy one!' haha... felt a sense of achievement!

met janice to go Holland Village for pedicure session... b4 tt i ate some fishballs and sotong balls and drank a cup of watermelon-honeydew ice blended... very cooling cox i felt my throat getting better after the drink! hahaah

pedicure session was great.. though i almost dozed off @ the end.. haha.. now my nails are short and neat, in my fav shade.. dark red or 'wicked' as it is called.. haha.. den the manicurist pyscho-ed us to get a package... haha.. wanted to dupe us into a 20 session package @ $280... but we cleverer... slashed it down to 10 sessions in the form of buy 5 FOC 5 sessions... tat works out to about $14 per full pedicure session for me for the next 5 mths... if any of you wanna try it out, can call me ya? service is gd, price even better (as compared to the one @ Plaza Singapure, where an express pedicure already costs me $15.90)... this one has scrub, exfoliate, moisturise etc... hahah....

enough of pedicure-talk. took cab back to hall wif janice, dropping her @ her hse 1st... came back , watched tv, bathed, blogging now...

waiting for dear to come 'claim' his overdue bread from breadtalk... gg slp son... tom's an exciting dae... though no classes, but most prob gg to Boom Boom Room with James, Janice and gang....

2nd dae into sch and i am sick.

so shitty.

actualli i have been complaining of sore throat since new year's dae... think too much heaty food and not enuff sleep... had a whole night of mahjong and blackjack... on 1st Jan morning we ate breakfast @ jalan kayu roti prata and slpt for barely 4 hrs before dear n me were dragged out of bed for lunch with his parents.. den i acc his mum to shop in town and reached his house onli ard 8pm... went home ard 9 plus and watched tv with my mum, together with the company of bbq chicken wings...

2nd Jan was spent with my mum.. woke up feeling quite heaty alredi... still went chinatown with mummy, bought bak kwa, ate satay and others... haha... went dear's hse aftr tt and ate some more bak kwa and green bean soup while watching Singapore-Mynamar soccer match... came back to hall ard 11 plus feeling super tired..

3rd Jan. went to sch earli to help Janice ger set up the Tidal Waves booth. ate sandwiches and drank fruit juice as i knew i was getting too heaty.. headed to class.. kept sneezing.. my timetable was finally confirmed... i have lessons only on Mon and Wed... so i am free on e rest of the days.. gonna find more tuition man! attended my 1st malay lecture in NTU, super cold classroom, kept sneezing again.. left e class feeling super giddy, staggered my way to Hall 3 canteen for a bowl of hot fishball vermicell before heading back to hall.. realised i had a fever. ate medicine, attempted to play maple story and slpt ard 11 plus.

4th Jan. woke up @ 11 plus am. dear bought chinatown dim sum breakfast for me cox he went to send his friend Zhang Qi off @ e airport. she's gg to Canada for 4 mths on student exchange prog... quite sick in the afternoon so dear din allow me to go for tuition... in the end we went jp with janice for dinner.. bought a notebook for my malay language notes... finished updating it with notes from my 1st lesson.. hehe..

cant rem the no. of times i ate panadol for the past few days.. feeling a bit 'floaty' now.. a bit hungri.. gonna see wat i can eat...

think i gg slp earli too.. lessons @ 130pm tom..

haha.... these are (or shall i sae 'were') my new year resolutions:

1. pierce ear holes
2. spend more time with family
3. do my best for my final semester
4. buy less clothes, shoes and bags
5. find more tution lobangs

and ............. tah dah !!!!

i got my ears pierced !!! on new year's day to be exact !!! dear's mum and sis brought me to the shop tt they alwayz go to ... cox they say the service quite gd and not painful.. so we went loh.. haha...the girl had so mani ear holes so i wasnt relli too scared... haha....

i gt wait one wk b4 i can remove them.. meanwhile, itz a strict no seafood diet for me...

went shopping wif dear's mummy and sister yesterdae @ orchard... bought a brown top from S&K ...

went shopping 2dae with my mum @ chinatown todae.. she bought super mani clothes for the new year... spent $200....

den ...juz when i tot i was so brave to pierce my ears, i got an even more shocking news juz now... someone tatooed herself!!! hahaha... think she is soooooo brave leh!.... hahahaha....

going back with dear to hostel now... shd be back in 2 hrs bah.. hahahha.... bbl for more updates...
