itz been a looong while since i turned on the pc in my room...

too tired. too busy. too late.

lots and lots of reasons.

but i got work to do tonight.

in the midst of setting holiday homework for my kids next wk.

a full wk w/o sch for them next wk.. den they will come back for the exams.

how can? must give them work to do.

so here i m... trying to type up their holiday homework list and then send for mass printing tom morning... haha...

3 days have passed.

mon was sch, marking, skipping, tuition, home.

tue was sch, marking, caught WTC, a lil shopping @ Esprit, home.

today IS sch, marking, contact time, facial, dinner wif summer, home.

tom is sch, marking, oral exam, tuition, home.

fri is sch, marking, oral exam, tuition, home.

sat is (thk god no sch) quality time with the sisters - Tianxin's Hen's night @ Conrad Hotel! woohoo!!!

sun is still quality time with the sisters... mayb meeting dear aft that (provided he is coming home this wkn), before the PSLE marking comes along aft that...

my life sounds boring i noe.

but it is actually going thru a series of excitement and anxiety right now.

lots and lots and lots of things on my mind, on my hands, in my head...

i nid a break.

MAF 2006

celebrated MAF twice this year.

Fri with my Fri night khakis (SleagueDDB) @ SK MSCP...

lots of fun fun fun!

we had lots of drinks, mooncakes, pomelo, lanterns and sparklers!

though there was no breeze, it was a fun, humid and sticky night with the gang...

ended quite late but most imptly we had fun!

and i got a Snow White ! ;o)

den on Saturday, went over to my 3rd uncle's house @ East Coast for our annual MAOF celebrations... and this yr round, dear dear came along with me!!! so happy....

we drove down, and helped my uncle to collect the food that he ordered..a ll within walking distance from his house... but long way leh! i wore heels somemore.. but dear and i found LOTS and LOTS of nice food to eat... and we r definitely gg back there again to try out the food!! hehe.. esp the char siew soh which dear adores... very very much!

had a long chat wif auntie... the HR and PR expert... got some pointers on how to communicate more effectively with my colleagues..

stand in their shoes... see what they see...

show them ur sincerity... they will feel it....

yes yes.. i will heed her advice and hopefully i can be proud to blog abt my colleagues in future!

Sunday was spent 1st @ tutition... den satisfied my craving for the 'wu2 di2' fish soup @ compasspoint food court... den we drove down to toa payoh Toyogo Box centre to buy a new house for our tortise.. did i mention before it is HUGE??? hahah... it has outgrown its current fish tank and it appeared in dear's dream that night, hinting to dear that it wanted a new home!! amazing hor!?!??!

so dear and i .... after searching high and low for large and xtra large sized tanks... finally gave up and turned to Toyogo for help... in the end, we lugged back not only 1 container, but 3!!! 1 for tortise and 2 for my house!!! hehee... funniest and most painful part was that my right big toe got smashed by a large container... in the end? bled n bled loh... but dear and i think quite funny too... how the hell can a person's leg be smashed by a toyogo container? that person is also quite clever and clumsy! hahahahaha...... i couldnt walk properly, let alone drive.. so dear drove us home loh...

den it was zzzz time... dinner... and more zzz time... left dear's hse @ 11pm... but the power nap of 6 hrs was pretty good... stayed up to do some compo marking.. went to bed ard 2am....

tat was my 'happening' wkend.. lots of fun.. some tears and a little guilt.

you can never have the best of both worlds.

MY CHILDREN'S DAY SURPRISE

dear surprised me on Saturday...

we went for KTV @ KSter in the afternoon...there were no lots nearby so we had to drive v v far.. i had a hard time trying to park into a parallel lot.. aiyoh.. SUPER malu loh... den dear dear made me laugh soooo hard when he tried to tear 13 coupons for the 4 hr slot.. we ran out of coupons den dear went to buy a new book... by the time we walked over to KSter, it was already 3.30pm liao loh! (our original booking was frm 3pm-7pm loh)





after singing.. we drove down to...

before that, we went to No Signboard for dinner...

ordered ee-fu noodles, fried baby squid and cereal prawns! yummy!

den it was much anticipated 2.5 hrs play...

reminded of the good old NYJC CCS days...
