MY 25th

this is a late update.. but still, better than never...

the 1st part of my bdae surprise came in around 10am on Fri 2nd Feb... My colleague told me that there was a bouquet of flowers waiting for me in the General office and i was really shocked. "who could it be?" i wondered.

when i reached the office, i saw 6 lovely white roses sitting prettily on the table... and tears fell the moment i read the card.. tears of happiness, tears of grattitude.. tears of joy...

thanks dearest mel mel, for the lovely bouquet and fragrance! i really love it!!!

in the evening, i met up wif my Sec 1 friends @ Pizza Walker, Wisma Atria.. it was really great seeing so many old friends.. many still look just as good as before, some changed alot (like Mr Lek).. some were absent but oh well... it's really good to see that almost everyone is doing quite well in life now...

Ade made a comment which i agreed perfectly... "The same people are still sitting with the same clique" haha.. how true.. Huizhen even teased me and reminded me on how close some of us were in the past.. but oh well.. let bygones be bygones.. everyone has moved on.. including him. and me.

after the Sec sch gathering where i ate a teeny slide of pizza and 2 mouthfuls of mushroom pasta, Kajua and i set off for the 2nd part of the night..to meet My Fri gang @ BQ... Met up wif Aaron, Vincent Ken and Kevin @ Waiting Bar before miting the gang at the coffee shop.. i was slightly late and got 'suaned' by Dickson and Darren.. !@!@^#%!^@%

opened a bottle of Martel and it was lots of drinking and singing later on @ Nos Pub... in attendance were: Summer Salyn Crystal Kajua Dickson Darren Nicholas and later on Aaron Ken Kevin and Wai. Salyn got me a nice bdae cake and the gang got me presents too.. Thanks to Summer and Darren, Nicholas, Crystal and Bryan for your presents :op

Halfway through our celebration, a friend of mine got drunk in another pub and we had to go over to take him away..went MIA for a while and that's when the mood started to dip for almost everyone.. in the end, it was a gathering with a less-than-perfect-ending... over who to take whose car, who made who disappointed, who got angry, who got mad etc... and several pple said less-than-pleasant words in the midst. that's where my mood really hit rock-bottom. i just have one word to say, that is SORRY. sorry to my dear friends if i spoilt your mood, sorry if i caused you to be upset at anyone over anything. i'm really sorry but i really did not want things to end in such a way.

as a result, i slpt quite late that night, woke up close to noon for tuition before going over to dear's house.. stayed there for a while den dear drove me down to meet the sisters at chinatown for ktv.. the jam was horrible but patient dear still insisted on sending me down.. in the end i reached there close to an hour later! hahaha.... but the ktv session was fun too.. with the 4 of us squeezing in a room meant for 2... according to them they had ran out of rooms but in the end they only charged us for 3 pax.. haha.. and they got me a very tasty and nice cake too! yummy yummy! meiyan couldnt join us as she was down wif fever.. hope she gets well soon! and oh yes, i have passed the stickers to Tianxin already!

after our ktv session, lin recommended that we go to Goodwood Hotel for drinks.. but in the end we proceeded to the Grand Hyatt Hotel to chill out at their Scotts Lounge.. very nice ambience i think.. took lots of pictures too.. hehe... den dear told me he would come to fetch us back.. but ended up with a surprise cake! so touched.. and dear sang me happy bdae in the car.. the expression on his face was so cute... hehehe...in the end then i found out he was in cahoots wif Danlin.. haha... no wonder she kept hurrying me to forget abt the bill first and go outside to meet him.. haha... thks sister!

4th feb.

woke up early in the morning for tuition.. den i went home to do my stuff and caught some sleep before dear came over to fetch me...we went for a car wash and he passed me my present from sister... she had drawn me a very nice picture of Winnie and Friends, wrote me a touching card, as well as bought me a necklace! so sweet of her!!! thks Wenya! i really appreciate your effort!

after the car wash, dear drove us to The Jewel box @ Mount Faber cox his friend told him that the ambience there is great! AND INDEED !!! it was a good decision! !!! even their toilet also super happening and classy!!! the night scenery was breathtaking, food was delicious too and not too pricey.. most importantly they played very nice background music and i cried like mad when dear showed me my present..

a lovely mickey mouse scrapbook consisting of pictures of the important pple in my life.. all painstakingly hand made and hand written by dear... the whole scrapbook was broken into different themes and straightaway i could tell that lots of effort went in to create the little embeddings, wordings and of cox the pictures! i cried and cried like mad... laughing occassionally at the words which he had written for me...the highlight of the scrapbook was the little notes from my friends... i am so touched that they took time to write for me, even more touched by dear's effort in collaborating with them, while keeping me in the dark TOTALLY! i was so shocked to see notes from Danlin, Tianxin, Suling, Wenya, Kershin, Jymmy, Melissa, Darren, Dickson, Summer, Nicholas, Kajua, Crystal and Salyn!!!!!!!!!! totally moved me to tears... it is really the BEST present that i have received soooooo far... thank you friends, thank you ah dear... lurve you soooooo much!

after that we took a walk to Faber Point and stayed there for a while to admire the scenery, before dear sent me home..

it was a great 25th bdae. becox of you, you and U.
